Special Education Law

     Maya & Associates represents families and parents of children with special needs, with a view towards insuring that each child receives his or her constitutionally protected right to a free and appropriate public education.

     We effectively and efficiently advocate for the services and educational advancement of our special education clients, overseeing the implementation and appropriateness of the specially designed instruction as set forth in each child's individualized education plan. Where necessary, we pursue legal remedies when the services offered by the public school district do not - for whatever reason - conform to a child's particular needs.
